How Cincinnati PLAYces started:

“I started Cincinnati PLAYces on Instagram. Honestly, I was new to IG and didn’t really understand much of it. I had a personal account, but never used it as I was on Facebook. But as an active, stay-at-home mom of two toddlers, I wanted to have a place where I could keep track of the fun places and events that I was finding around town. That’s when I started @cincinnatiPLAYces. I meant for it to be like a diary of fun for myself and my family. But then, organically, the page started getting quite a few followers. That’s when I decided that other moms were interested in what I was doing. That’s when I decided to move it to Facebook. So now Cincinnati PLAYces has a Facebook page as well as a Facebook group!”

Purpose of Cincinnati PLAYces:

“To help Cincinnati moms out! Parenting is HARD! Keeping kiddos entertained is HARD! Cincinnati PLAYces is here to help parents find kid-friendly places and events to take the kids to that are either FREE, afforadable and/ support our local businesses!

Hopes for Cincinnati PLAYces:

“My hopes are that because Cincinnati parents are all sharing and going to some of the same places and events with their little ones that they will start connecting with one another. Finding friends as a parent can be tough! But with having Cincinnati PLAYces in common bringing you out to the same place/event, it’s easier to break the ice and start a friendship!”
