Brownies:
- 1/2 c Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1 c White Sugar
- 2 tbsp Flaxseed
- 6 tbsp Water
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 c Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 c Gluten-Free Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Frosting:
- 3 tbsp Unsweetened Applesauce
- 3 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 tbsp Honey **DO NOT USE IF CHILD IS UNDER THE AGE OF 1. (Substitute with maple syrup or molasses)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract I just use the imitation vanilla because it is cheaper
- 1 c Confectionary Sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour an 8" square pan.
Mix flaxseed and water and let sit for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients for brownies and mix well.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake on center rack for 25-30 minutes.
Do no over bake!
While baking, mix ingredients for frosting.
Frost brownies while still warm.
Enjoy!
