Stand mixer
Cake Layer
- 1 c All purpose flour sifted
- 1 c Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 4 LG Eggs beaten
- 4 tbsp Margarine softened
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 16 oz Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
Mint Layer
- 1 c Confectionary Sugar sifted
- 1/2 c Margarine room temperature
- 2 tbsp Crème de Menthe syrup
Glaze Layer
- 6 oz Chocolate chips
- 6 tbsp Margarine
Cake Layer
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease a 9x13" baking pan.
Beat eggs in a bowl.
In a stand mixer, mix together the first 5 ingredients.
Beat well.
Add vanilla and chocolate syrup.
Mix well.
Pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely.
Mint Layer
While brownies are cooling, mix together all mint layer ingredients.
Beat well.
Spread mixture evenly on top of cooled brownies.
Glaze Layer
Melt chocolate and butter together either in a sauce pan on low heat or in the microwave (stirring intermittently) until fully melted.
Allow to cool slightly before spreading evenly over the mint layer.
Let stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before cutting.
